Whyte Avenue Psychological Assessment & Wellness is proudly located in the Whyte Avenue Wellness Centre in South Edmonton, just east of the Mill Creek Ravine and west of the Bonnie Doon Mall on 82nd (Whyte) Avenue.

We provide a safe, neutral, and supportive environment for Edmontonians dealing with psychological and mental health concerns to enhance their mental well-being in all areas of work and personal life.

Dr. Kimberly Brodeur, R. PSYCH

CLINICAL & NEURO PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Kimberly Brodeur is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist working from the Whyte Avenue Wellness Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is a brain health advocate who integrates various therapeutic techniques into her work, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and mindfulness training.

Dr. Brodeur specializes in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation psychology. She has experience treating psychiatric, medical, and neurological conditions. Dr. Brodeur always emphasizes individual strengths and helps Clients work towards improving their overall health, quality of life, and well-being.

EDUCATION

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Alberta (UofA), she obtained her master’s and doctorate degrees at Pacific University in Oregon with training at Legacy Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Hospital and Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU). She completed an accredited internship in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba and then became a registered member of the College of Alberta Psychologists.

EXPERIENCE

Dr. Brodeur worked at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton for 7 years where she conducted neuropsychological assessments and co-facilitated a cognitive rehabilitation group for stroke and brain injury survivors, as well as providing neuropsychological assessments and treatment planning for individuals with other types of acquired brain dysfunction. In addition, Dr. Brodeur offered psychotherapy to individuals adjusting to brain injury, stroke, amputation, chronic pain, and other medical and neurological conditions. She opened a private practice located in the Whyte Avenue Wellness Centre in 2014 and works with diverse populations providing both formal assessments and individual psychotherapy.
